Head-to-Head

• The only previous meetings between ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ and Allianz MTV STUTTGART in the CEV Champions League were in the 2019/20 group stage. Both teams won their home game that season, 3-2 in Lódz and 3-1 in Stuttgart.
• ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ have met one other German team in the Champions League, winning 3-1 at home and losing 1-3 away against SSC Palmberg SCHWERIN in the 2018/19 group stage. The 3-1 home win was the team's first match in the Champions League and in any European competition.

• ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ won their opening match in the group stage in 2018/19 and 2019/20 (3-2 at home against Allianz MTV STUTTGART). They lost their first match in the 2020/21 group stage; 0-3 against VakifBank ISTANBUL in Plovdiv.
• ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ have won eight of their last 10 Champions League matches. This includes two awarded wins in the 2020/21 first round. The two defeats were both against VakifBank ISTANBUL.
• Last season, ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ reached the 4th finals of the CEV Volleyball Cup, in which they were eliminated by Mladost Zagreb.
• Veronica Jones-Perry was ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ's top scorer in last season's CEV Volleyball Cup on 101 points, but she has since left the club to play for Sesc/Flamengo in Brazil.

Allianz MTV STUTTGART

• This is the fifth Champions League campaign for Allianz MTV STUTTGART. They reached the quarter-finals in 2018/19 and in 2019/20, which equalled the best result for a German women's team in the Champions League (USC MÜNSTER in 2000/01).
• Allianz MTV STUTTGART have lost their first match in the group stage on all four previews occasions, including 2-3 away versus ŁKS Commercecon ŁÓDŹ in 2019/20.
• Last season, Allianz MTV STUTTGART reached the final of the CEV Volleyball Cup, in which they lost 1-3 home and away against Eczacibasi Dynavit ISTANBUL.
• Simone Alexandria Lee (130) was the second-highest scorer in last season's CEV Volleyball Cup, behind Tijana Bošković (170).
• Krystal Rivers (132) was the team's top scorer in their previous Champions League campaign 2020/21.
