Reigning #CLVolleyM champions Cucine Lube CIVITANOVA started their campaign with win over their long-time domestic rival from Perugia being now hungry for more success, while TOURS VB play their first game totally eager to use a home court advantage. These teams have never met on the court before, however CIVITANOVA never lost to any French team at the European stage (defeating Paris Volley in a pool phase of the #CLVolleyM 2015, and Tourcoing Lille Metropole in semifinal of #CEVCupM 2006). Head coach of TOURS VB Hubert Henno will lead he French team in the game against his former club, as he was a player of Cucine Lube from 2012 to 2015, winning the Italian championships in 2014.

We don't know the French team very well, so it will be essential to approach the match in the right way, focusing exclusively on what we have to do in our part of the court".
